Magic Carpet Storie.

On August the sixteenth it was my birthday. I decided to bring my BFF Jay’lee. We were going on a vacation to Hawaii. Isn't that awesome? The first thing we went to was a beautiful beach that was see through so we could see all the fish and sea horses. Then we went back on to the hot sand and had a rest. AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!! “What?” said Jay’lee. “There is a Magic carpet on top of me!” Then Jay’lee fainted. I was frightened but the Magic Carpet was so kind that he took us to our parents and Jay’lee was all right. Then mum asked, “What is this Carpet doing here?” I said, “I’m keeping it in my room.”


‘’YEAH,’’ Mum said. We could keep it, I was so happy that I ran around the field 2 times. I called her Jordan Sparkes. She took us every where we wanted to go. It was fun. The last thing that we wanted to go to was the sky tower. So we started going up up up and the carpet banged in to the sky tower, and then me and Jay’lee went down down down and landed on a trampoline. But Jordan Sparkes was injured, she was riped and dirty. So we took her home and asked mum if she could stitch her together, and then me and Jay’lee would vacuum her, so it took about 30min to get her stitched up. And it took us 21min to vacuum her. Then she was all right but she could not fly us to the sky tower but we went every where else.

Mrs Rogers

Mrs Rogers is a visitor at Pt.England school from the USA. She is in our class for 3 whole days and she is a really cool visitor. But at our school she will be staying for 9 days at Pt.England. She is beautiful and is kind like my teacher Mr Somerville. I hope we can see her again some time next year.

One day I hope she would love to come to our school again and would remember us and that everyday or some other days she will always be happy. She goes to a school in the USA witch is university. If she is in your class room please be kind to her and say hello.

Week 1 Basic Facts!

This is my basic fact for this week.

My Weekend

In the weekend I slept over at my sisters house. On Saturday I had to wake up very early because I had to go to the deaf church with my Nana and sister. First we went to go to the train station and as soon as we got there the train was there waiting for us. We had to go to the City to get picked up. Then We had to eat some lunch and me and my sister had eaten butter chicken - it was yummy and my Nana had a cup of tea. Then a lady was here to drop us off to deaf church to make some cards and Easter eggs. First we made cards while my Nana was melting the chocolate. We made a few cards then it was time to make some Easter eggs. I could of gotten the one with a lot of pictures on it but instead I took the big Easter egg. Then we had to put the melted chocolate into the plastic mould and then shook it and put it into the fridge. Then it was time to go home. It was a fun day!

Embarrassing Moment

These were the 2 of my embarrassing times on different days.

It all began at the shops when I was embarrassed in front of a few people. I was getting some apples and putted it into the trolley. Then I took about 5 steps and my big brother Dominic put his leg out and I tripped over. So I stood back up again and then there was a 9 year old girl who was laughing. I thought about going to punch her but we had to go and eat some lunch.

It was so embarrassing when I was walking to school in the cold rainy wind I was holding an umbrella. there were other people who were there too but the wind was so hard a girls umbrella flew away and I started to laugh because it was funny. then I was walking with an umbrella and the wind was blowing hard out that the wind broke it. Then the girl was laughing at me. then I went across the road and gave her my umbrella and then ran to school because I didn’t want to get soaked.

Netbooks

Yeah! The year have 5 and 6 students have now gotten their Netbooks for school, ''Horray''. Thanks to the people who organised the Netbooks like Mr Burt and many others. I love working with my own Netbook because a lot of people in our school have them. So I hope you have a great day and have fun. Bye Bye

Favourite Sports

Hi my name is Dante and I am 10 years old. My favorite sport is Netball and soccer because I like shooting and kicking. I have a lot of friends but they are in different classes but I still get to see them at lunch time and morning tea. My goal is to keep my school work better and helping others. My favorite movie is Street dance because it has a lot of interesting things in it like a lot of dancing.

Bigger, Better, Stronger, Faster

On the first week of term 2 Room 16 started to build up towers in our class room. The first thing we had to do was that we had to get into 3 groups our you could do it your self I was in a group of 2 with Turuhira and I. Our equipment was 8 pieces of paper, 1 pear of scissors, 1 glue stick and 1 long strip of sellotape. These were the only things we could use to build a tower. We had to think of some things that could make a tower out of all of these equipment. It was difficult. Then my group came up with an I dear!!!!!!. We thought of the strongest shape that could hold our tower and the strongest shapes were circles and triangles. So out of our paper we made 4 papers shaped as a circle so that we could make a stand with them but then it started to wriggle a bit but it still could balance. But there was some thing wrong we had to make it strong enough to hold the big heavy block. The whole class only had a few minuets left we were finished but other teams had to keep on doing there’s. Then it started to be a challenge our group was second to last and we lost but we tried the winner was Andrea she had the tallest tower that standard.
