My Spine Story

Once upon a time there were 2 little girls named Kim and Tura. Every day they would walk around the park looking in rubbish bins for food because they were very poor.

But one day they saw a light coming from the park it was as bright as the sun. Because of that they got up and went to go and have a look, once they got there they saw a camera. “Oh wow it’s just a camera, lets go back home Kim” Tura said with a grin on her face, “Wait lets look through it first” Kim said with a detective look in her eyes, “Its a picture of K.F.C” Kim said. Then a fairy named Linitch came down and told them that if they took a photo of anything it would come to life if they said come to life please.

So they grabbed the camera and went home with excitement, they started taking photos of Pizza, Chicken, Mcdonalds and takeaways then they said the words and poof there it was on the table they started munching on all of it because they were so hungry.

When the months past they became fatter and fatter and they couldn't even walk on there feet, they were so lazy that they couldn’t even reach the camera that was in front of them and when Tura held the camera and while she was taking some photos the camera slowly disappeared and they were left with nothing and they ended up poor again.

The moral of the story is not to eat so much junk food before you become lazy like Kim and Tura in my story.

Adding Detail to Speech - Sponge Bob

On a sunshiny day Patrick and his friend Spongebob went to the sandy beach to go surfing on the big waves.

“Wooo, Oooo“ screamed spongebob, while falling off his surfboard and into the water.

Patrick was thinking of another way to surf without falling off his board, “Oooo” Patrick replied to himself with a competitive look in his eyes.

Standing on his surfboard feeling confident he spoke out “Apply the sauce“ he grabbed his glue and squeezed it all over his feet and surfboard. “I will not be separated from this surfboard“ Patrick shouted excitedly while riding the waves.

“Rock! Separate! Separate!“ he blasted out with a scared voice, he crashed into the rock leaving his board behind but his bones with him, his body slowly floated to shore.

“I like your sandals” exclaimed Patricks skeleton,  “Thanks we’re inseparable.” replied Patricks body.

Dory and Marelin - Just Keep Swimming

While Marlin was sitting on a rock feeling hopeless Dory swam to him and said with a squished up looking face ”Hey Mr Grumpy Gills, when life gets you down, you know what you gotta do?”

”I don’t want to know what you gotta do” Moaned Marlin. Grabbing Marlin’s fin they dived down into the deep dark ocean.

Dory started to sing ”Just keep swimming, just keep swimming,  just keep swimming, swimming, swimming, What do we do? We swim swim swim”

”Dory, No singing”, Marlin replied with a frown,

”I love to swim. When you want to swim” Bellowed Dory.

Swimming deeper and deeper into the ocean Dory continued singing, “See I’m gonna get stuck now with that song now it’s in my head” Marlin yelled.

“Sorry” Dory said in a gentle voice.

' Lollipop Moments'

A Lollipop Moments is when you do something nice for someone else and make them feel happy. For example if you ask your mum if she needs help with the washing and she says ‘yes’ then it makes her feel happy because then she doesn't have to do it herself instead.

There was also a clip that Miss King showed us of  how Drew Dudley helped a man change a woman's life. The woman was scared to go to University but then her luck changed, there was a man giving out lollipops to everyone and when the man gave it to another man he said “ Give this lollipop to the lovely woman next to you” and he was scared to do it but he loved her and so he gave her the lollipop.

The main message about the clip is to be a capable leader and showing everyone your respect and your personality, and doing small things can make a big difference to everyone.

The end of the year reflections

What I liked about being a year 7:

Being a year 7 was awesome because of all the cool things we could do, and I also like being a year 7 because we can take our net books home and we could use them every where. Like for example how you take a phone around a net book is sort of the same but bigger. I am really going to miss being a year 7 but I am going to move on to being a year 8 next year in 2013.

What's going to happen next year for me:

I cant wait until next year because I am going to be a year 8, and what I am focusing on this year and next year is to do all of my work properly and to try and achieve in my goals that I am going to do. I also want achieve in the work I do at school like maths, reading and writing, these are the things that I am really focusing on in my work at the moment.

My Weekend

In the weekend I slept over at my sisters house. On Saturday I had to wake up very early because I had to go to the deaf church with my Nana and sister. First we went to go to the train station and as soon as we got there the train was there waiting for us. We had to go to the City to get picked up. Then We had to eat some lunch and me and my sister had eaten butter chicken - it was yummy and my Nana had a cup of tea. Then a lady was here to drop us off to deaf church to make some cards and Easter eggs. First we made cards while my Nana was melting the chocolate. We made a few cards then it was time to make some Easter eggs. I could of gotten the one with a lot of pictures on it but instead I took the big Easter egg. Then we had to put the melted chocolate into the plastic mould and then shook it and put it into the fridge. Then it was time to go home. It was a fun day!

Embarrassing Moment

These were the 2 of my embarrassing times on different days.

It all began at the shops when I was embarrassed in front of a few people. I was getting some apples and putted it into the trolley. Then I took about 5 steps and my big brother Dominic put his leg out and I tripped over. So I stood back up again and then there was a 9 year old girl who was laughing. I thought about going to punch her but we had to go and eat some lunch.

It was so embarrassing when I was walking to school in the cold rainy wind I was holding an umbrella. there were other people who were there too but the wind was so hard a girls umbrella flew away and I started to laugh because it was funny. then I was walking with an umbrella and the wind was blowing hard out that the wind broke it. Then the girl was laughing at me. then I went across the road and gave her my umbrella and then ran to school because I didn’t want to get soaked.

My Dinosaur :)

Thousands of years ago there lived a Stegosaurus named Cathrine. She was not like the other dinosaurs because she was the only one with blue eyes and the rest had brown eyes. She was the shortest dinosaur out of there family. She loved to eat veges because she was a vegetarian but her family's were known as the best meat eaters. Cathrine also likes to eat plants her favorite veges are Carrots and Corn and the only meat she eats is Corn Beef its her favorite. They lived in a beautiful enormous white house that was in Washington. There were 24 bed rooms for my brothers and sisters and one huge one for me. My brothers and sisters get lots of money but when I get my money I save it for my family to go on a trip to Hawaii.

Cathrine is short but strong, she has spikes on her tail to protect her self from her enemy, plates on her back to look really cool and her skin color is Tan. What she likes to play is Tiggy. That is her favourite thing to play because she is very fast and is better then her family.
